The Program
The box game, brought to the West Coast
Box lacrosse is played in an enclosed rink with boards, a smaller net, and a shot clock. Every possession matters, and every player handles the ball. In a tight space there's less time and less room on every touch, so hands get quicker, passes get crisper, and the pace never lets up. Those stick skills carry straight back to the field.
West Coast Box Lacrosse brings that game to players from Tampa Bay down to Southwest Florida and everywhere in between. New to box? Good. We'll teach it from the ground up.
Our mission is simple: build one lacrosse community across Florida's West Coast, where any player can learn the box game, sharpen their stick skills, and compete with the best in the Southeast.
5 + 1Five players and a goalie per side. Fewer players, more touches.
30 secShot clock keeps the pace high and decisions quick.
4′ × 4′Box goalies fill the cage. You won't beat them with raw speed, so you learn to pick corners, change planes, and finish in tight.
BoardsThe walls are in play. Picks, rolls, and quick restarts.
